Tia T. Thomas is the School Business Administrator for the East Orange School District, where she oversees the financial operations of a district serving over 9,000 students across 20 schools. In this critical leadership role, she is responsible for budget development, financial management, contract negotiations, and oversight of key operational departments including facilities, information technology, and security.
What I believe....
Service has always been a part of her life. As a Treasurer and Board Member of Greater Harvest Church Tia has always, reflected on her deep-rooted commitment to community service and leadership. From an early age, Jermaine's passion for athletics shaped his journey, starting track and field at 8 , dedicated himself to sports that would open doors. Throughout high school, he excelled earning five state championship titles, becoming a Penn Relays champion, setting school records and winning two national championships (3x All-American). His success led to a full scholarship to the University of South Carolina, where he became a 3x Track & Field All-American, an All-Freshman SEC team honoree, a two-time SEC podium finisher, and a two-time USATF Championship qualifier. In 2018, he transitioned from athlete to mentor, beginning a coaching career as the Head Track & Field Coach at Lesley University. Recognizing the need for personalized fitness coaching , JMC Fitness was founded, dedicated to helping athletes and everyday people.
